More than 70 photorealistic dinosaurs are ready to return from extinction to delight families and dino fans everywhere, as Jurassic Quest Drive Thru, the nation’s largest and most realistic dinosaur experience, will be at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center April 30-May 9.

After welcoming millions of guests to sold-out events across the country, Jurassic Quest Drive Thru will transform South Lots of the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center into a fun-filled drive-thru experience complete with baby dino and trainer meet and greets, photo opportunities, a choose-your-own-audio-adventure tour and memories of epic proportions.

Jurassic Quest's herd of animatronic dinos – from the largest predators to playful baby dinos – are displayed in realistic scenes that allow guests to experience them roaring and moving as they drive through the tour.Jurassic Quest worked in collaboration with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur was painstakingly replicated in every detail, from coloration to teeth size(!) to textured skin, fur or feathers, drawing on the latest research about how we understand dinosaurs and ancient giants of the sea looked and moved.Although the drive-thru experience means visitors will stay safe inside their vehicles, they’ll still need to avoid the swinging tail of the 50-foot Spinosaurus and the gigantic grinning Megalodon!  

Tickets for Jurassic Quest are just $49 per vehicle (8 people or less) and available only at www.jurassicquest.com. An audio tour comes standard with every purchase (choose from two; special accommodations can be made for the hearing impaired) as well as a safari-style digital souvenir photo of your vehicle and family transported back in time via a Jurassic setting. Jurassic Quest Drive Thru guests now get to choose their own audio adventure! Jurassic Quest’s own Safari Sarah, Dino Dustin, Captain Caleb, Prehistoric Nick and Park Ranger Marty provide a fun-filled soundtrack for the hour-long trip back in time to help visitors navigate the dino herd and learn little-known dino facts – packed with plenty of lighthearted humor to tickle funnybones of every age (“get ready to Tricera-STOP here…”)! Visitors can opt for the original audio tour in English and Spanish or a brand-new audio adventure led by Safari Sarah with the rest of the crew serving up A BIG surprise for everyone at the end!

Jurassic Quest Drive Thru adventurers will need to buy tickets in advance online at www.jurassicquest.com. Tickets are $49 per vehicle and include a 100% ticket guarantee that in the event of a show cancellation or postponement for any reason, ticket purchases will be automatically refunded for the full purchase amount. Guests must travel through the drive-thru in the comfort of their own vehicle – no rentals or golf carts will be provided, and walkers are not allowed. To ensure participant safety, all guests must ride inside their vehicles (yes, pets inside vehicles are allowed), no riders in truck beds, however. Trailers are also not allowed – we’re worried they might tempt the hungry dinos too much! The Fishers Summer Concert Series hosted by Fishers Parks will return beginning June 1, featuring local and national performing acts in the heart of downtown Fishers at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Drive). The free concert series includes performances on Tuesday and Friday evenings, presented by IU Health Saxony, and Wednesday lunchtime concerts presented by Meyer Najem. The series will conclude with the return of the popular two-day Blues Fest celebration on Labor Day Weekend.

Fishers Parks continues to monitor federal, state and local guidelines daily, and will adapt accordingly. Admission is free (limited first come, first served). Operating restrooms, hand washing, and sanitization stations will be available on site. Patrons are encouraged to wear face masks. No outside alcohol allowed. Vendors will be available on site to purchase adult drinks and other refreshments. Chairs and blankets are welcome.

The City of Kokomo is proud to present its 2021 free admission summer concert series at the Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion at Foster Park in downtown Kokomo. This year’s lineup offers a little bit of something for everyone, with performances from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Max Weinberg’s Jukebox, My Sinatra starring Cary Hoffman along with the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra, Monsters of Yacht (a night of 70’s & 80’s yacht rock hits), and more.

The Kokomo concert series aligns with many of the local themed festivals throughout the summer, creating even more entertaining activities for area families and beyond. “The City of Kokomo takes pride in making our summer concert series bigger and better every year with the array of talent we are able to bring to the stage,” said Kokomo Mayor Tyler Moore. “With all that folks have had to sacrifice this past year, these events will provide a great opportunity to give back to the community we love and appreciate.”

All concerts are family friendly, ideal for those on a date night or spending time with family or friends. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for each evening packed with fantastic entertainment.

Saturday, June 26 – HOGfest featuring Max Weinberg’s Jukebox. For 45 years Max Weinberg has held the drum chair behind Bruce Springsteen & The E Street band, playing before millions around the world. He expanded his role as band leader and resident music historian while anchoring the house band for Late Night with Conan O’Brien for 17 years. Max Weinberg’s Jukebox comes armed with an unlimited repertoire of classic songs, engaging the audience in a truly interactive concert experience. Saturday, Aug. 14 – Fireman’s / Jeep Rally featuring Nashville’s Finest. Nashville’s Finest combines two new up-and-coming Nashville bands (Zeona Road and The GD Saints) with established recording and touring musicians who have played with some of the world’s biggest acts.

Saturday, Aug. 21 – My Sinatra with The Kokomo Symphony. Cary Hoffman turns his celebrated PBS special into a biographical, often hilarious, and poignant one-man musical play about his love and idolization for his hero Frank Sinatra. Hoffman captivates the audience with his intimate journey of what it was like growing up fatherless with three musician uncles, who played on some of Sinatra’s greatest recordings, turning Sinatra into a fantasy father. Saturday, Sept. 18 – Summer’s End featuring Monsters of Yacht. Featuring classic 70’s and 80’s yacht rock hits, Monsters of Yacht deliver rocking recreations of songs by artists like Toto, Christopher Cross, the Bee Gees, Steely Dan, Hall and Oates, Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, and more. They have the skills and attitude needed to pay tribute to the artists of the yacht rock genre with a powerful live show featuring accurate vocals and performances of the classic yacht rock songs.
