Mareta Mae (Wood) Wiley passed away on to the Lord on January 19, 2021 at her residence in St. Paul, IN.

She was born November 23, 1931 in Decatur County the daughter of the late Gerald Wood and Thelma (Wiley) Wood.

Mareta was preceded in death by her husband, John Wiley, her parents, a sister Versie Kersey and a granddaughter Brittany Klene.

She was a graduate of St. Paul (IN) High School and was a member of the Star Baptist Church (Decatur County). She worked over 23 years as a Mail Clerk for the US Postal Service.

She loved spending time with her family and friends especially when it included playing euchre.

Mareta is survived by her children, Diana (Denny) Menefee of Waldron, IN; Norman (Theresa) Wiley of Greensburg, IN; Jerry (Deborah) Wiley of Waldron, IN; grandchildren, Shana Hall, Sabrina Goolsby, Dayla Brooke Thurston, Tanya Wiley, Tennile Kroger, Beau Wiley, Kelsey Amberger,
Shane Menefee, Scott Baker, Josh Campos, Jason Campos and several great grandchildren.
Her siblings include Lewis (Barb) Wood of St. Petersburg, FL; Bill (Susie) Wood of Greensburg, IN; nieces and nephews, Rita Hellmich, Marlene (Mark) Price, Lynn (Robin) Klene, Denise (Andy) Glaub, Helena Mongan, Ron (Angie) Wood, Tim Wood, Jeff Wood, Todd Wood and Daniel Kersey.

Graveside services will be held at Star Baptist Church Cemetery (Decatur County) on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:30 AM with Pastor Scott Sharp officiating.
