Robert L. "Bob" Hubbard, 95, of Greenwood, former St. Paul resident, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at Heritage House.

Born June 23, 1927 in Coburg, Kentucky, he was the son of Joseph Grundy Hubbard and Eunice Ida (Clark) Hubbard. He married Beverly Jean (Hall) Hubbard on March 18, 1950 and she preceded him on October 29, 2018.

Survivors include 6 children- Charlene Dooley, Cathy Martin (John), Janice Hubbard, Joseph Hubbard (Kristy), William Hubbard (Lisa) and David Hubbard; 10 grandchildren- Kerri Gardner (Ashley), Travis Brown, Robin Curry (Chuck), Bobby Brown (Lori), Ethan Hubbard (Samantha), Drew Hubbard, Steve Hubbard, Christina Hubbard, Adrian Hubbard and Tony Hubbard; 11 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, son Robert Allen Hubbard and 4 brothers.

Mr. Hubbard had lived in this area since 1942 after previously living in Kentucky. He was a self employed painter & tree trimmer for many years. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting arrowheads, and reminiscing about good memories and great stories. He devoted his life to caring for his family, whom he loved very much. Bob and Beverly were awarded the Good Samaritan Award for saving the life of a kidnapped 7 year old girl back in the early 90's.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, November 28, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road. Burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
