Shelbyville’s 4 x 800 meter relay team of Collin Scott, Joe Lux, Matt Baker, Alexis De Jesus and coach Nick Blakey highlighted the team’s school record performance in winning the Franklin Regional and their upcoming appearance at the track and field state tournament in Bloomington.

Shelbyville Golden Bear Zach Kuhn knows what its like to play with elite talent. Appearing as a Junior All-Star this past weekend in an overtime loss against Kentucky was just another opportunity for the Golden Bear senior-to-be.

Freshman Lexi Wilkins connected for a school record eight 3-pt FG in a 70-60 victory over Oldenburg back in November. The teams meet again Tuesday in the Waldron sectional quarterfinal but the Spartans will be shorthanded with Wilkins out with injury.
