Brenda Kay Turner, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away, Sunday, August 7, 2022, at her home.

She was born December 19, 1962, in Shelbyvillle, the daughter of Bob and Emma Jean (Raleigh) Sturgill.  She married David Turner and he survives.

In addition to David, Brenda is survived by her mother of Shelbyville; children, Beth, Leslie and Rob; brother, David Sturgill and wife, Tammy, of Shelbyville; sister, Patricia Houck and husband, Thomas, of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Memphis Shonk and Mazzey Starr Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Brenda graduated in 1981 from Shelbyville High School.

She had formerly worked at Subway for 14 years.

Brenda enjoyed making crafts and going to flea markets.

She also leaves behind her dog, Nala.

Private services will be observed.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
